EOMAR: Earth Observation Mapping & Analysis in R

EOMAR is a Shiny R application developed to connect to geospatial data on Ellipsis Drive, visualize it, and perform preliminary analysis. The app allows viewing raster layers on an interactive map, inspecting and comparing data values by selecting one or more points of interest. The app can be configured to allow downloading raster data from a local repository.

To get started, choose a dataset from the box below and press Launch.

The application connects and loads data automatically. Go to the 'Output' panel where you can:

                        Analyze Results:
                        
      
                          
    • View the map and navigate between layers and timestamps
      • 
                          
    • Activate 'Select Points Mode' to compare multiple locations
      • 
                          
    • Click on 1-5 points on the map to place colored markers
      • 
                          
    • Click 'Extract Series' to get a table and interactive comparison chart
